The Role
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your main responsibility will be developing mechatronics systems to enhance aerodynamics development for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to technical challenges, significantly contributing to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
* Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
* Create detailed system architectures and specifications.
* Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop innovative solutions.
* Work with external suppliers to select appropriate components and technologies.
* Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure functionality and performance.
* Oversee prototype and production delivery, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
* Prepare and present technical reports and specifications to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
* Strong understanding of multidisciplinary system design and integration.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
* Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and communication skills.

* Master’s degree in relevant fields.
* Experience with automotive, motorsports, or aerodynamics testing.
* Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink.
