Artemis Human Capital is currently supporting a long-established NI manufacturing business with the appointment of an Assistant Accountant to join their on-site finance team. This role has been created to strengthen month-end reporting and financial control and will suit a part-qualified accountant or experienced finance professional who enjoys working close to operations and wants to continue building depth in management accounting within a stable, well-run organisation. The role combines technical accounting with practical, business-facing finance. Key Areas of Responsibility Support the production of monthly management accounts Prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls Analyse performance, trends, and variances across the business Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis Contribute to improvements in reporting and finance processes Work closely with non-finance stakeholders across the operation About You You will be comfortable working in a fast-moving, office-based environment and enjoy taking ownership of your work. Youre analytical by nature, confident working with data, and keen to develop your career within a manufacturing or operational finance setting.
