This role offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment where reliability, continuous improvement and safety are key priorities.
You will play a hands-on role in maintaining and improving production machinery, supporting breakdown response, planned maintenance and new equipment installation.
The Role
Working as part of the engineering team, you will support the maintenance and performance of industrial production equipment across mechanical and electrical systems. The role involves reactive and planned maintenance, fault finding, equipment installation and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry outplanned preventative maintenance and reactive repairsto ensure machinery remains operational and reliable.
* Respond quickly toequipment breakdowns, identifying faults and implementing effective repairs.
* Assist with theinstallation, commissioning and testingof new machinery and equipment upgrades.
* Apply structuredfault-finding techniquesto identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
* Support the development and improvement ofpreventative maintenance programmes.
* Analyse equipment performance and breakdown trends to help reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
* Maintain and updatemaintenance documentation and procedures.
* Ensure spare parts inventory is managed effectively to support maintenance activities.
* Work collaboratively with production and technical teams to improve equipment reliability and process performance.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across machinery, systems and processes.
* Ensure full compliance withhealth & safety and regulatory standards.
* Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within engineering areas.

* Multi-skilled engineer withmechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
* Experience working in amanufacturing or production environment(food manufacturing highly desirable).
* Strongfault finding and problem solvingskills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
