Role Summary:
This is an office-based role supporting a portfolio of SME and commercial clients. You’ll handle a varied mix of risks, contribute to the branch’s continued growth, and benefit from full CII study support and clear career development opportunities. Hybrid working is available (2 WFH days), though full office presence is required during probation and regular onsite engagement is preferred long-term.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage renewals, MTAs and new business across a broad commercial portfolio: build stronger client relationships and enhance retention
• Handle risks across property owners, PI, EL, fleet, cyber and combined packages: expand your technical breadth
• Prepare client documentation and ensure accuracy on all policy records: contribute to a smooth client journey
• Work closely with account executives and insurers to negotiate favourable terms: strengthen your market exposure
• Use internal systems to maintain up-to-date records and workflow: ensure efficient account management
Requirements:
• Background in SME or commercial broking across mixed products
• Comfortable handling risks ranging from small premiums to approx. £50k GWP
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Familiarity with Acturis is a bonus (or confidence adopting new systems)
• Interest in CII studies welcome and fully supported
