Job Opportunity: Finance Assistant at a York Secondary School
Academic Appointments is working with an OUTSTANDING rated Catholic school near York city centre, within walking distance from the train station, to appoint a Finance Assistant. This is a temporary position until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing financial and administrative support under the guidance of the Business Manager.
* Completing purchase order requisitions and staff expense claims accurately.
* Maintaining stocks and supplies of curriculum and general office equipment.
* Handling financial administration and reconciliation for catering, educational visits, transport, lettings, and other income streams.
Requirements:
* Experience in a finance or administrative role.
* Strong IT skills and familiarity with accounting software and ICT packages.
* Experience working in a busy office environment.
* Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
