Responsibilities of the Semi Senior Accountant role include:
• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax computations
• Preparing VAT returns and supporting client compliance work
• Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide advice
• Supporting Senior colleagues with more complex assignments
• Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and deadlines are met
Requirements of the Semi Senior Accountant role include:
• Previous UK practice experience is essential
• AAT qualified, part qualified ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience
• Good understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance
• Confident in client communication and queries
• Proactive, organised, and keen to develop within practice
