Job Advert Role Description
Priory is the leading independent provider of mental healthcare and adult social care in the UK. We have an exciting opportunity for two Optima Trainers to join the team and support Projects team, on a fixed term contract for an external applicant, or a fixed term secondment for an internal applicant.
The trainer’s job purpose is to support the project office and external contractor to embed the new rostering platform across the business and ensure colleagues are trained to the expectations for their job role. They will support with the creation of rostering policies, SOPs, and training and coaching materials. Lastly, ensuring the training phase of the rostering project is delivered efficiently and effectively.
The role will cover the UK with the expectation to travel therefore frequent business travel will be required - you must have a car and driving licence and be able to have overnight stays
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Be an integral part of technical discussions with our Systems Specialist to ensure the proposed solution fits the business requirements
2. Assist in the development of, and become subject matter expert on, rostering policy, platform, and SOPs
3. Train colleagues to the full expectation for their role
4. Provide remote and onsite support in order to effectively embed knowledge
5. Ensure uniformity and best practice in the use and integration of all systems across the business
6. Travel nationally to deliver face to face training
What we would like from the applicant:
7. Full Driving Licence and access to own car
8. Ability to master new IT systems and use knowledge to teach others
9. Ability to understand and effectively disseminate policy and SOP information
10. Patience, perseverance, and tolerance for trainees
11. Understanding of how system configuration works for optimised operational success
12. Understanding of Healthcare and/or Adult Care systems, processes, and policies (desirable)
13. Working knowledge of RL Datix/Allocate HealthRoster, BankStaff, Loop app, and SafeCare (desirable)
