The company are a manufacturer in Alcester manufacturing high-precision fabricated and machined metal components, for the aerospace, defence, and power generation industries.
They are seeking to recruit a Quality Inspector for their operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform inspection operations using 3D Optical scanners
* Performing 1st and final inspections using manual and visual techniques
* Population of the inspection database with all relevant dimensions
* Sentencing of all parts inspected on optical (Keyence, Scan, OGP) and CMM
* Supporting the internal non conformance process – raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured
* Liaise closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth transition of new products
* Completion of FAIR packs
Required Skills & Experience:
* Must be familiar with quality control procedures and standards and have held a quality control role in a manufacturing environment
* Able to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
* CAD knowledge
* Strong communication skills and an attention to detail
* Strong team player
* An advantage would be to hold experience of the aerospace industry
The role is Lates – Monday to Wednesday 4.30pm to 2.30am – Thursday 4.30pm to 1.30pm
