Ready to lead data transformation at a global scale? We are looking for a Data Risk Management Lead to drive innovations in data governance and strategy.
As the Vice President, Data Risk Management Lead in Payment Operations Data, Insights & Analytic Solutions (DIAS), you will focus on the compliance of data risk management in solutions delivering data, analytics, and insights.
You will manage the data risk strategy to comply with data policies and evolving privacy restrictions, partner with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to define data limitations and solutions, and ensure data is managed responsibly, securely, and in alignment with regulatory and business requirements.
Job Responsibilities
DIAS Data Risk Management Oversight
* Monitor upstream changes to data limitations/restrictions and manage the projects that result in an impact to the DIAS portfolio.
* Communicate and educate on evolving data guidelines and their impacts on how DIAS can deliver solutions and support users.
Country/Branch Expansion Representation
* Represent DIAS in country/branch expansion projects, providing expertise on data management requirements and potential challenges for delivery of global data solutions.
* Collaborate with legal, compliance, technology and business teams to address data requirements beyond the current solutions.
Data Restriction & Aggregation
* Work with appropriate partners to determine at what level data becomes restricted and when it can be aggregated globally.
* Develop and maintain guidelines for data restriction and aggregation, ensuring compliance with local and global regulations.
Payments CDO partnership
* Represent DIAS to provide the required oversight for programs driven by the Payments Chief Data Office (CDO).
* Lead remediation for any compliance issues or changes in regulation as part of Payment CDO programs.
IAS Charter Oversight
* Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of IAS (Inter‑affiliate service) charters for DIAS.
* Act as an advisor to stakeholders who require data from DIAS in the review of their IAS Charters.
Data Use Case Management
* Manage the identification, documentation, and prioritization of data use cases across DIAS.
* Act as an advisor to stakeholders who require data from DIAS in the creation of their data use case(s).
Stakeholder Collaboration
* Build strong relationships with business, technology, legal, compliance, controls and risk partners to ensure effective data management and oversight for complex data requests requiring multiple partners.
* Communicate and educate on data management strategies, policies, restrictions and updates to stakeholders and DIAS partners.
* Contribute to training and awareness to promote data responsibility.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* 10+ years of experience in data risk management, data governance, analytics roles, or related fields within financial services.
* Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data risk management policies & procedures, regulatory compliance, and global data privacy laws.
* Experience with country/branch expansion projects, cross‑border data management and knowledge of data restriction and aggregation best practices.
* Experience supporting and enforcing policies for data use, quality, protection, destruction, retention, storage, and lifecycle management.
* Strong verbal and written communication for technical and non‑technical audiences, stakeholder management, and project management/leadership skills.
* Self‑motivated and able to work collaboratively in a matrixed, fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
* Familiarity with the firm’s Inter‑Affiliate Services (IAS) and data use framework and use‑case development.
* Understanding of regulatory compliance standards and requirements related to data.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Experience with payments data and country restrictions.
* Experience with BI tools, data lake environments, and emerging technologies.
