Job summary
To support, coordinate andadminister the PCN Enhanced Access ("EA") service and other servicesas required.
Working with GJH managers and teamleads to ensure the effective and efficient management, delivery, andadministration of GJH projects.
Liaising with PCN GP practices toensure they can optimise their access to GJH clinical services, especiallyduring periods of high demand.
To bethe first point of contact for network practices, other partner and stakeholderorganisations in relation to enquiries and raising issues concerning GJHservice provision.
Provideadministrative support to the PCN Business Support Manager and ClinicalDirectors
Rundata and produce reports on a monthly basis to monitor performance against IIFtargets
Assistin the set up and running of annual vaccination clinics, including houseboundand care home vaccinations and other services as required.
Attendingrelevant meetings, producing agendas and minutes with the support of the PCNBusiness Support Manager and Clinical Directors.
As a PCN with two networks and six GP practices, you may need to attend the locations of the sites in the area of Jesmond/Lower Gosforth and North Gosforth.
The interviews for the PCN Business Administrator will be held on 16th and 17th of May 2024. Location will be confirmed.

Service Administration
Act as firstpoint of contact for receipt of invoices and timesheets in relation EnhancedAccess (EA) and other PCN services, and forwarding on to GJH Accountant forpayment as required
Provide monthlyto PCN GP practices itemised payment details relating to remittances issued topractices for work in delivering and or supporting Enhanced Access and otherPCN services
Preparing and submitting monthly servicecharge claims on behalf of practices, and providing details of room utilisationto Practice Managers for reconciliation with associated payments
Maintaining a staff rota for EA sites Mondayto Saturday, ensuring appropriate cover in place daily for GPs, Nurses, HCAsand receptionists, as applicable; arranging cover for any sickness/holidays,standing clinics down when unable to provide sufficient cover, including GP oncall for Saturdays
Maintaining a log of holiday requests / lastminute cancellations and dealing with these as appropriate
Sending weekly communications to all EA staff relatingto the availability of EA shifts, and maintaining an up to date and accurate TeamsShifts rota
Adding Monday to Saturday EA clinics to eachpractice system weekly; ensuring these match Shift allocations on Teams for GP,Nurse and HCA sessions Monday to Saturday
Ensuring and maintaining up to date staffhandbooks and policies are in place for EA sites, including job role sheets forall staff members and FAQ sheets for new staff
Communicating weekly EA availability tonetwork GP practices and checking that slots have been utilised; re-allocatingto alternative practices where appropriate
Introduce new staff to EA
Ensuring all new EA staff are inductedproperly during their first shift and set up correctly on all practice clinicalsystems, including ICE where needed
Liaising with Duty Managers to ensure eveningcover through the week for phone calls from staff at EA sites with issues andbe first point of contact for the bloods courier service
Liaising with Duty Managers to ensure 9am to 5pm cover on Saturdays for EA sites
Collecting feedback from EA staff relating toissues and matters arising and forwarding to the appropriate members of GJHteam to resolve; including stock, IT and buildings
Collecting feedback from clinics relating toservice access, utilisation and patients and forwarding to PCN GP practices;including incorrect bookings, patient feedback and complaints
Providing general administration support andassistance as and when required to Clinical Directors, GJH managers and teamleads; including enabling, facilitating and servicing meetings and events
Administrative Support
Provideadministrative support to the PCN Business Support Manager and ClinicalDirectors
