Duties
* Safely operate delivery vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
* Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption.
* Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety protocols.
* Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery notes.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
* Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical concerns promptly.
* Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during loading, unloading, and driving activities.
