About the Role
In this role, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children across all programs. You’ll work closely with your team, contributing to the day-to-day flow and bringing consistency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality, play-based programs that reflect children’s interests and support their development
2. Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children
3. Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
4. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure strong daily operations
5. Contribute to programming, documentation, and continuous improvement
6. Assist in maintaining compliance with regulations and service standards
7. Bring initiative, reliability, and a positive team-focused approach
What We’re Looking For
8. Demonstrated experience working in OSHC or school-aged care environments
9. Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning.
10. Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
11. Ability to confidently manage groups of children and respond to varying needs
12. A proactive and reliable team member who can contribute positively to team culture
