Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Hours: 35 hours per week, working Monday to Friday
Salary: £30,542 - £33,935 per annum (Finance RFJ 2)
The role
We are currently seeking a motivated Finance Officer to join our hard-working Payments Team based in Coalville. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Finance Team Leader (Payments) in delivering a comprehensive purchase ledger service across all Group companies and associated organisations.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all purchase ledger transactions from invoice receipt through to authorisation using our computerised ledger system.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain effective controls over the purchase ledger, including the accurate setup and maintenance of supplier records in line with established procedures.
Prepare and execute electronic payments and bank transfers.
Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, efficient finance service.
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to excellence in financial processing.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of purchase ledger functions. You will have good communication skills and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Problem solving and liaison with internal and external customers is key for this role and you must be a committed team player with the ability and willingness to learn new skills.

Qualifications
