Job Title: Design Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Conisbrough, DN12
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Design Technology Teacher to join a thriving school in Conisbrough, DN12. As a DT Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages, encouraging students to explore a range of DT disciplines such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, and Engineering.
Responsibilities as a Design Technology Teacher:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality DT lessons tailored to different learning styles and abilities.
* Promote creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving skills in the classroom.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring all learners reach their full potential.
* Maintain a safe and inspiring workshop environment in line with health and safety regulations.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and enrichment opportunities.
Requirements for the Design Technology Teacher role:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Strong subject knowledge across one or more DT disciplines is desirable.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire pupils of varying abilities.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
* A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
