Position Details

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure adherence to the NMC code of conduct in all care and practice areas.
* Maintain the well-being of residents, respecting privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfillment.
* Liaise with residents' families, GPs, community nurses, specialists, pharmacists, local authorities, and other related bodies.
* Lead nursing activities, ensuring the care of residents aligns with their individual needs and capabilities.
* Coordinate with management regarding any arising issues.
* Promote independence and personal choice in residents' daily activities.
* Participate in training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
* Create a stimulating and attractive environment for residents.
* Prioritize residents' needs and ensure quality care.
Essential Criteria
* Registered Nurse Qualification.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development and clinical competencies.
* At least 6 months post-registration experience.
* Experience with residents suffering from dementia.
* Knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
* Leadership and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage workload, delegate, and prioritize.
* Basic IT skills.
* Genuine interest in caring for people with dementia and physical frailty.
* Reliable, motivated, enthusiastic, and responsible.
* Flexible approach to work and respectful attitude.
