About the role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work within a multi-functional agile delivery team, collaborating with engineers, researchers, and testers. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines for DWP services.
Day-to-day responsibilities
* Translate business requirements into code.
* Contribute to automated testing to ensure code quality.
* Identify issues to ensure services are scalable, resilient, and highly available.
* Help optimize development processes.
* Participate in community discussions on best practices and automation.
Skills and experience required
* Understanding of SDLC, version control, and issue tracking.
* Knowledge of cloud infrastructure like AWS or Azure, containers, and infrastructure as code.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
* Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
* Ability to make decisions confidently and seek help when needed.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
