Our Club, our teams, our community. There is only one Hotspur. Tottenham Hotspur. The Role To deliver the Academy Coaching Curriculum within the Youth Development Phase. Key Responsibilities Devise and deliver sessions to the U13’s within the Youth Development Phase in line with the Academy Methodology In liaison with the YDP Lead Coach, ensure an outstanding training and games programme is delivered to U13 players Support YDP day release programme and FTTM with training delivery. Provide on an individual basis the appropriate support for all players to ensure they gain the appropriate challenge during their U13 season Be responsible for match day preparation and performance for the U13’s Plan the selection of squads and travel on foreign tours as required, providing pastoral care that adheres to Academy guidelines/policies Conduct and compile Individual Learning Plans for all players in the U13’s in line with the Premier League rules (Every six weeks) Conduct mid-season and end of season Player/Parent meetings Establish relationships with players and parents of the U13’s in line with Academy Policies, and manage age group specific communication via Club issued devices Work closely with Academy Medical, Sports Science, Analysis, Education, Player Care/Safeguarding, Operations and Kit staff regarding the player’s holistic programme and needs Liaise with Academy Recruitment team regarding potential trialist/signings Embody the Academy Methodology and apply to all aspects of interactions with Academy Stakeholders (players, parents & colleagues) Maintain mandatory CPD record, including Club issue DBS check (every three years), UEFA Licence (15 hours of the appropriate level CPD every three years), FA Youth Award, FA Safeguarding Children Workshop (every three years), relevant FA Emergency First Aid qualification as per Premier League rules (currently EFAiF – every three years) Ensure the U13’s KitMan data entry (both for training sessions and matches) is accurate and up-to-date to support the players development journey To support our Elite Development Centre programme as well as area best events when required Identify U13 standout players in the Elite Development Centre and liaise with the recruitment team around potential trial opportunities Plan U13 player audit meetings in a multi-disciplinary approach to provide a staff update on mid-season and end of season progress.
