Job Title: Nursery Manager and Assistant Nursery Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking two dedicated professionals to join our leadership team:
1. Nursery Manager - To lead and oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education.
2. Assistant Nursery Manager - To support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery and to take on leadership responsibilities in their absence.
Key Responsibilities:
For both positions:
* Ensure the nursery operates in compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and Ofsted requirements.
* Lead and manage a team of early years practitioners, providing guidance and support.
* Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes children's learning and development.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
* Monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
* Promote a safe and inclusive environment, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Additional responsibilities for the Nursery Manager:
* Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, including staffing, budgeting, and resource management.
* Ensure the nursery environment is stimulating, safe, and well-maintained.
* Lead the nursery team in continuous professional development and performance management.
* Liaise with external agencies, including Ofsted and local authorities.
Additional responsibilities for the Assistant Nursery Manager:
* Support the Nursery Manager in all aspects of nursery management.
* Take on leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Nursery Manager.
* Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
* For the Nursery Manager position, a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management is desirable.
* Previous experience in a leadership role within an early years setting.
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
