This is the perfect opportunity for anyone considering a career in law, looking to explore the
world of ITV and what goes on behind the scenes of becoming one of the biggest global
creators, producers and distributors in the world.
A bit about the team.
The Legal and Business Affairs team at ITV covers many areas of practice, from production
lawyers to those working in commercial, privacy, litigation, intellectual property and brand
protection, distribution, music and compliance to name a few. Don't worry if you don't know what these mean - that's what the Work Experience is for!
A bit about the Work Experience and how to apply.
You will be with a group of Yr 12 and Yr 13 students invited to ITV Television Centre Leeds to spend 3 days experiencing what a career in Legal & Business affairs might look like:
* Exploring Legal & Business Affairs work - you will meet and hear from experienced legal and business affairs professionals as they explain how they navigate the diverse challenges of the media and entertainment industry.
* You'll dive into real world topics, discussions and activities that showcase the dynamic nature of legal work at ITV, inspiring you to consider a path you may not have thought about before.
* Interactive exercises - engage in hands-on discussion designed to ignite your curiosity about legal issues and challenges in the media and entertainment industry.
* From mock legal scenarios to contract negotiations, these interactive sessions will demystify the legal intricacies that shape your favourite TV shows.
Minimum Criteria & Requirements
• Must be currently in Year 12 and 13
• Have the right to reside and work in the UK
• Able to travel (subsidised at £6 per day with receipts) to attend in person at ITV Television Centre Leeds on 14th, 15th and 16th July 10am - 4pm.
Lunch will be provided but if you bring in your own snacks please be mindful that others
might have food allergies so please avoid nuts.
