The Role As a Waking Night Support Worker, youll play a crucial role in maintaining a calm, secure, and supportive environment throughout the night. Your responsibilities will include: Providing attentive and reassuring overnight supervision Creating a safe, structured, and peaceful atmosphere Carrying out regular welfare checks and maintaining accurate records Responding calmly and effectively to any incidents or needs Following safeguarding, fire safety, and health & safety procedures at all times Attending training, supervisions, and team meetings About You Were looking for someone who is: Caring, patient, and emotionally resilient Calm under pressure with a proactive mindset Passionate about supporting children and young people Committed to delivering high standards of care and professionalism Experience in a childrens residential setting is beneficial, but not essential-full training will be provided for the right person. Youll also need to be willing to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare if you dont already hold this qualification.
