Remote role - Preference for those located in the south of the UK but not essential
An innovative energy organisation in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of Energy and Environment to oversee all aspects of the organisation’s energy strategy, operations, and sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the company’s energy strategy, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements.
* Lead decarbonization and renewable energy initiatives.
* Track and report on sustainability KPIs and emissions.
* Manage energy infrastructure projects.
* Expand and develop the energy team.
Requirements
* 10+ years of experience in senior, lead, principal, or head positions.
* Strong background in energy, sustainability, transport, supply, or a similar field.
* Extensive experience developing company-wide strategies and approaches to projects.
* Experience working with local authorities and organizations responsible for transport, energy, and infrastructure.
* Experience leading a team and mentoring colleagues.
* UK citizen without the need for sponsorship or visas.
* Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
