We are seeking a Technical Support Consultant to join our globally distributed IT team, providing technical support from our Leeds or London office to users worldwide.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong PC support capabilities, and experience in User & Server Administration, Active Directory & Azure AD, MS Windows 10 & 11 Enterprise, MS 365 (including Exchange Online, Office, Endpoint Manager), among others.
SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, to be followed where applicable.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing daily IT support, including call logging, troubleshooting, user account setup, password resets, and PC builds.
* Supporting the IT environment, including servers, systems, networks, and devices.
* Assisting with projects and upgrades to meet company objectives.
* Supporting office moves and IT/Voice infrastructure changes.
* Monitoring backups, managing asset database, and controlling software registry.
* Building positive relationships with the business.
Core Technical Experience:
* At least three years of hands-on, remote, and telephone support experience as an IT support specialist.
* Experience with user administration, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 365, and Outlook in a corporate setting.
* Hands-on troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, and VPN.
* Proven ability to support multiple users across various locations.
* Experience supporting Office 365 products (MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint), Antivirus (MS Defender), Veritas BackupExec, etc.
* Ability to support various desktop applications.
* Experience deploying images/software via Intune/SCCM.
* Familiarity with ITIL-based call management systems like FreshService.
