Role: Manufacturing Manager

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Package

Total Search Partners are working with Dorplan, to add in a newly created Manufacturing Manager role to their rapidly growing team. Dorplan offer a comprehensive range of 3rd-party accredited doorset solutions, combined with first-class project management and support services.
The Manufacturing Manager oversees the entire manufacturing function, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. This role involves managing production, quality, health and safety, and logistics teams, optimising manufacturing systems, and driving innovation and efficiency across operations.
This role requires a big thinker (and deliverer!), the businesses has realistic ambitions to double it’s turnover in the next 3 years, and needs a senior leadership team with the desire and ability to drive manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all aspects of manufacturing operations across one or more facilities.
* Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to meet business objectives.
* Oversee production planning, capacity management, and resource allocation.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
* Drive cost reduction, process optimisation, and operational excellence initiatives.
* Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to improve product design and manufacturability.
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics .
* Lead cross-functional projects and support new product introductions.
Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
* Strong strategic thinking and organisational skills.
* Proven track record of managing complex operations and driving improvements.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Familiarity with ERP systems, manufacturing technologies, and automation.
