Nursery Manager Doncaster Early Years Lead - Full time - Permanent position

Seeking enthusiastic, team player with a passion and love of working with children to help fill the role of a Nursery Manager.

The ideal candidate will have previous Nursery experience and a strong background in early childhood education. Looking for a candidate who has a creative and nurturing personality, someone who thrives in creating a stimulating environment that helps encourage and advance the development of young minds.

A big part of this role is to ensure children's safety and well-being and create a happy, warm, and creative Nursery.

This role is to offer continuity and consistency with regards to the daily operations and management of the Nursery business. The aim is to ensure that the Nursery runs smoothly and efficiently, keeping all office records up to date and passing all relevant correspondence onto the owners. Ensure the staff team works to continuous high standards of care and education for children and their families and maintain this Nursery's excellent local reputation. The Nursery is based in central Doncaster with good transport and motorway links.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent.
2. Paediatric First Aid (can be completed if successful).
3. Designated safeguarding and child protection certificate (can be completed during registration and with the Nursery).

Experience Required:

1. Previous management experience in an early years setting, ideally in Private Nursery provision.
2. Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage along with recent revisions and current Ofsted statutory guidance.
3. Extensive knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.

Skills:

1. Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills with children and adults.
2. Professionally discreet and maintain levels of confidentiality.
3. Proactively support inclusive practice across all areas of work.
4. Ability to write reports and keep clear and accurate records.
5. Effective, positive team leadership to support education and training within the setting.
6. Ability to effectively lead nursery team through changes to government statutory regulations and guidance.
7. Ability to formulate ongoing improvements for the nursery and model behavior.
8. Excellent organizational skills and basic administrative and IT skills.
9. Ability to work as part of a team or using own initiative.

All successful applicants will be subject to Enhanced DBS, recent relevant references (satisfactory), and Academics LTD clearance process. The role is for a direct and permanent post with the Nursery but initially, the first stages of the process in recruiting will be supported by Academics LTD.
