Customer Service Administrator – Inbound

Purpose Of the Role
To manage the administration of European and UK road customer service operations in line with customer requests and network standards. To provide administration in a cost‑effective and efficient manner, maximising profit whilst promoting quality and service.
Responsibilities
* Administration of Import, Export and UK shipments using the Dachser IT systems.
* Maintain quality standards and excellent customer service.
* Produce identified Key Performance Indicators for the Outbound customer service activity.
* Liaise with other departments in Northampton and the UK as well as other branches in the network ensuring good working relations.
* Produce and administer quality and production control reports.
* Facilitate final checks of customs shipments on internal customs systems.
* Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to ensure that the agreed service levels are met.
* Proactively inform the customer of any issues or deviations to the shipment process via our event management system and other communication channels.
Ideal Candidate
* Strong track record of delivering exceptional service, with the ability to manage customer queries professionally and efficiently.
* A basic understanding of customs regulations, import/export processes, and related documentation (desirable).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise effectively, and maintain accurate records.
* Confident in using standard software applications, including Microsoft Office, and capable of quickly learning new systems or software as required.
