What you’ll be doing
As Process Development Technologist, you will lead manufacturing projects focused on process development and line trials to meet customer and company standards.
* Support the creation of customer and factory specifications, ensuring accurate product labelling.
* Plan, prepare, and execute process development and line trials to fulfill customer requirements and improve processes.
* Provide process guidance to manufacturing teams to promote adoption of new practices for efficiency.
* Monitor process trends, ensure launch date adherence, optimize processes, and communicate effectively with customers.
* Identify and lead continuous improvement projects through relevant trials.
* Document line trial outputs, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality standards, and customer specifications.
* Assess equipment capability to align with process standards and drive improvements.
* Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety, and Environment policies.
What we’re looking for

* Degree in food science or related field, with relevant experience in food manufacturing.
* Essential qualifications: Level 3 Food Hygiene, Level 2 Health and Safety, Level 2 HACCP, Level 2 Sensory Training, Level 2 Microbiological Training.
* Experience evaluating shelf-life results and interpreting customer codes of practice.
* Proficiency with computer programs and analyzing project results.
* Knowledge of legal labelling legislation and retailer web-based systems is desirable.
* Understanding of relevant technology and key performance indicators in the business area.
* Skills in GMP, basic hygiene, legal labelling, and weight legislation.
