The Opportunity
We are seeking an AI Talent Acquisition expert to help us establish world-class AI capabilities at both GUS Group level and across our institutions.
We need someone with more than just recruitment skills—a network builder with warm global AI talent pools already in play. Whether you’re with an AI specialist recruitment agency or in-house as an AI TA partner, you’ll have an active network of AI professionals worldwide.
Your remit will include:
* Executive leadership roles such as Chief AI Officer (CAIO) and Directors of AI.
* Specialist technical hires like engineers, QA, and AI support.
* AI operations roles supporting business transformation.
* Product and pedagogy-focused AI hires driving innovation in learning and teaching.
You will recruit across the entire AI lifecycle, from the boardroom to hands-on development, impacting how GUS embeds AI into operations, products, and pedagogy.
You will be a trusted advisor to the C-suite and senior stakeholders, guiding talent strategy, shaping attraction methods, and using data and market intelligence to influence decisions. Demonstrating agility and resilience, you’ll partner with senior stakeholders, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and maintain high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end recruitment of AI roles across all levels and disciplines.
* Leverage existing global AI talent pools and networks to accelerate hiring outcomes.
* Partner with C-suite and business leaders to scope roles, challenge briefs, and shape hiring strategies.
* Deliver direct sourcing campaigns to engage top AI talent worldwide.
* Track and present recruitment metrics, ROI, and market insights to stakeholders, using data to identify bottlenecks and refine requirements.
* Support the creation of a compelling AI Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and candidate materials.
* Ensure an outstanding candidate experience, positioning GUS as a destination employer for AI talent.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven success recruiting in AI and tech markets, ideally from an AI-focused agency or in-house TA role.
* Active global AI talent pools and networks you can leverage immediately.
* Experience recruiting a wide range of AI roles, from executive to technical talent.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with credibility at the C-suite level.
* A flexible, agile approach to TA, able to pivot as business needs change.
* Data-driven mindset: confident using metrics and insights to present progress, ROI, and influence leadership decisions.
* Passion for employer branding and delivering a standout candidate experience.
* Expertise in talent mapping, sourcing, and identifying niche skill sets—finding a needle in a haystack!
* Proven candidate attraction, management, and conversion skills.
