Can you be the calm in a childs busy school day?
For a child with additional needs, the jump into primary school can be overwhelming. We are seeking a patient, creative, and nurturing SEND Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Tamworth. You will be the go:to person for a child (or small group) with needs such as Autism (ASD), Speech and Language delays, or Global Developmental Delay (GDD).
This is your chance to use play, patience, and visual aids to turn a cant do into a can do.

Your Core Responsibilities
* 1:1 Learning: Provide tailored support during phonics, maths, and play:based activities to ensure the curriculum is accessible.
* Sensory Support: Use Now and Next boards and sensory breaks to help a child stay regulated and happy.
* Social Development: Help children learn how to play, share, and communicate with their peers during break times.
* Care and Wellbeing: Assist with personal care or mobility if required, ensuring the child feels dignified and safe.
