Band 4 Nurse Associate – DICE Team
An opportunity has been developed for a Band 4 Nurse Associate to join the DICE (Disability Intensive Care Enhanced) team for a fixed term of 18 months.
The DICE team provides intensive support for children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autism during times of crisis and recovery when discharged back to the care of community services.
Our aim is to prevent avoidable hospital admissions, stabilise crises, and support recovery in the community.
The team provides short‑term intensive intervention, working collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, and local services to stabilise and enable people to live safely and meaningfully in the community.
As an NMC registered practitioner, you will work in a clinical field, under the supervision of a registered nurse, delivering safe, compassionate, and dignified, patient‑centred health care. You will be expected to plan and prioritise your workload, implement evidence‑based care, utilise relevant guidance, protocols, and policies (local and national), and contribute to care planning and patient review.
