About the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to assist students with a variety of additional needs. You will help deliver tailored support, encourage engagement in learning, and contribute to a safe and inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEN. Assist with the delivery of personalised learning activities and interventions. Support students’ emotional regulation, behaviour, and social development. Promote positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff. Monitor and record student progress in line with individual support plans. Qualifications: Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting is desirable. Understanding of a range of special educational needs and support strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach. Ability to adapt to the varying needs of students.
