Overview
James Brindley Academy is seeking a Computing Teacher to teach pupils with medical needs who are unable to access mainstream education. Many of our Young People have gaps in their education and we strive to implement creative teaching strategies to reduce the impact of educational disadvantage, enabling all our Young People to access learning and make expected progress. You should be passionate about developing and supporting the needs of the whole child and committed to enabling all pupils to thrive. We are looking for a qualified teacher with tenacity, positivity and experience of teaching the subject at KS3, KS4 and KS5. You should have QTS and a track record as a consistently good practitioner.
Responsibilities
* Teach Computing to KS3, KS4 and KS5.
* Deliver engaging, creative teaching strategies to support pupils with medical needs and educational gaps.
* Support the needs of the whole child and enable pupils to thrive.
* Collaborate with staff to plan, deliver and assess pupil progress.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Tenacity, positivity and experience teaching Computing at KS3–KS5.
* A track record as a consistently good practitioner.
