Are you a dynamic Production Coordinator looking to join an established, fast paced, mechanical manufacturing business? This role offers the challenge of directing our clients specialised production teams, where your expertise will directly impact our production excellence, customer satisfaction, and continued business growth.
Responsibilities as the Production Coordinator:
* Lead and manage the production teams to achieve output and productivity targets.
* Oversee all customer orders relating to production, ensuring quality standards and on-time delivery.
* Develop and maintain production and build schedules for production operations.
* Take ownership of product quality for all items produced within your departments.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost-effectiveness and align with business requirements.
* Introduce modern manufacturing techniques to drive process improvements.
* Collaborate with internal teams.
* Leadership and development of the production team members.
* Health and Safety protocols.
Requirements as the Production Coordinator
* Strong leadership skills with confidence in performance management
* Experience working in a production-driven manufacturing environment
* Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook and Excel) and production management systems
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Confident problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, especially under pressure
* Experience with manufacturing processes from raw materials to finished products
