About the role

As a Team Member in our café, you're involved in cooking, chatting with customers, and making a positive impact. You'll ensure that every dish meets our menu's standards and safety regulations, and help keep the environment clean and tidy.

Please note that applicants must be 18 or over.
Responsibilities
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils.
* Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
* Follow food safety and hygiene regulations and keep records.
* Practice FIFO stock rotation to ensure food freshness.
* Accept deliveries and store food safely.
* Adhere to operational policies and procedures.
* Prepare, cook, and serve food as per the café's menu.
* Maintain standards and ensure food availability.
* Know the menu well and serve food accurately.
* Handle customer complaints and inform the Café Manager.
* Stay updated with business communications and initiatives.
* Clean and sanitise tables and the café environment.
Requirements
* Commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards.
* Ability to work efficiently and maintain cleanliness.
Personal qualities:
* Team-oriented and communicative.
* Proactive and organized.
* Capable of multitasking and working under pressure.
* Adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
