MTrec’s new career opportunity Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis. It is essential candidates are flexible to work a 3 shift pattern. The Job you’ll do * Diagnosis and repair of special purpose equipment and make sure it works correctly. * Formulation and execution of effective (value added) planned maintenance (PM) to prevent disruption of activities. * Prioritisation, validation, and completion of maintenance requests. * Control of Inventory using engineering database. * Pilot key equipment using maintenance key performance indicators (KPI’s) to formulate and execute improvement action plans. * Mentor and support to maintenance apprentices. * Capture of comprehensive maintenance data for equipment history and ‘lessons learnt’ purposes. * PLC fault finding using PLCs for remedial actions and process improvements. * Coordinate with maintenance engineering department for external modifications and future installations. * Support improvements identified through the Red Tag and 6S process. * Shift handovers must be completed. * Support a culture of change and improvement within the engineering department.
