What you'll do: As an Electro-Mechanical Engineer, you'll work across design, development, and production support, helping to create complex aerospace systems that meet the highest industry standards. Your responsibilities include: - Designing electro-mechanical assemblies, including enclosures, looms/wiring harnesses, and PCB assemblies using 3D CAD modeling. - Ensuring compliance with aerospace standards such as EWIS, EMC, IPC manufacturing guidelines, and manufacturability/testability principles. - Generating and managing engineering drawings, applying configuration control tools (e.g., PTC Windchill) to ensure design integrity. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and leading engineering change requests. - Applying advanced problem-solving tools, including Design for Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, to optimize performance and efficiency. This role involves a mix of new product design and production support, requiring an engineer who can analyze, refine, and improve both legacy and next-generation systems.
