Location: M13 - Manchester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £14 - £16 per hour
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (ASAP start)
Reeson Education are recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive SEN primary school in the M13 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with complex needs.
The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will work with pupils aged 5-11 who present with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, trauma, and sensory processing difficulties. You'll play a vital role in helping pupils engage with learning, develop confidence, and build positive relationships in a nurturing and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Level 3 Teaching Assistant:
 1. Provide individual and small group support across the curriculum
 2. Work closely with the class teacher to implement tailored learning plans
 3. Lead interventions designed to support academic, social, and emotional development
 4. Manage challenging behaviour using positive and proactive strategies
 5. Help pupils regulate emotions and develop resilience
 6. Take the lead in lessons when required and model a calm, consistent approach
 7. Promote inclusion and engagement across all learning environments
Requirements for the Level 3 Teaching Assistant:
 8. Must hold a Level 3 qualification (essential)
 9. Previous experience working in an SEN or primary school environment
 10. Strong understanding of SEMH, ASD, and trauma-informed approaches
 11. Confident, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
 12. Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
