Year 3 Teacher RE Leader responsibilities: Manage the teaching and learning of RE To raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the whole curriculum area Plan and organise schemes of work in line with the school's curriculum and national standards Oversee curriculum coverage, continuity and progression in RE throughout the school Assess and evaluate Year 3 student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies Provide regular feedback to Year 3 students, parents and colleagues on student progress Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment To ensure that there is a clear curriculum in place that matches the needs of the students Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences Year 3 Teacher RE Leader requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education, PGCE or related field QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification Up-to-date knowledge of the primary school curriculum and national teaching standards At least 2 years' experience teaching KS2 Experience leading a subject or year group Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills A passion for education and a commitment to student welfare An ability to inspire and motivate Year 3 students of all abilities.
