Year 3 Teacher + RE Leader responsibilities:
* Manage the teaching and learning of RE
* To raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the whole curriculum area
* Plan and organise schemes of work in line with the school's curriculum and national standards
* Oversee curriculum coverage, continuity and progression in RE throughout the school
* Assess and evaluate Year 3 student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies
* Provide regular feedback to Year 3 students, parents and colleagues on student progress
* Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
* To ensure that there is a clear curriculum in place that matches the needs of the students
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences
Year 3 Teacher + RE Leader requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Education, PGCE or related field
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification
* Up-to-date knowledge of the primary school curriculum and national teaching standards
* At least 2 years' experience teaching KS2
* Experience leading a subject or year group
* Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills
* A passion for education and a commitment to student welfare
* An ability to inspire and motivate Year 3 students of all abilities.
