You will possess excellent communication skills with a strong focus on the customer and coupled with the flexibility to work a range of hours (including early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
* Lead by example, treating customers as top priority and be customer focused in all areas of restaurant operations.
* Accurate staff scheduling that meets customer demand.
* Support the whole team to maintain operational efficiency.
* Conduct regular store walks, in the eyes of the customer.
* Create a positive teamwork environment where all employees are treated with dignity and respect.
People
* Encourage staff to share suggestions and concerns.
* Provide feedback to all members of the team on performance, set goals and objectives, and provide support and guidance.
* Performance management when necessary, working with the HR Department.
Driving Sales
* Understand sales, popular products, peak trade times, and adjust accordingly.
* Ensure products are correctly merchandised and at sufficient levels and contribute to marketing campaigns.
* Coach employees to upsell and use suggestive selling.
* Continuously evaluate opportunities for improvement based on incentives and team focus.
Operations
* Monitor Key Performance Indicators such as sales, employee turnover, food safety and Health & Safety standards.
* Lead by example with composure under pressure.
* Weekly stock orders and quality checks on incoming orders.
* Maintenance schedule for all equipment for preventative maintenance and calibration.
* Optimal inventory management; opening and closing procedures.
* Maintain operational standards and cleanliness, including food quality, hygiene, customer experience, speed of service and hospitality.
* Health and Safety program with prompt reporting of accidents/incidents to the Regional Manager.
* Availability to work a variety of shifts as part of the management team.
Qualifications
* Previous experience of running restaurants.
* A flexible and disciplined approach to work.
* Experience of working in a food environment would be advantageous but not essential.
* Able to work as part of a team and on their own.
* Good numeracy and literacy.
* Maintain a high level of food hygiene and food safety.
* Experience in handling customer complaints.
* Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and instructions.
