1. SEN Teaching Assistant (Trainee CABAS Teacher)

Perfect for : Teaching Assistants, Nursery Workers, Learning Support Assistants, or anyone with experience supporting children.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver tailored lessons focused on communication and life skills
* Support pupils on trips and in daily routines
* Implement behaviour support strategies
* Provide personal care with dignity
* Track progress and adapt teaching accordingly
* Assist with breaktime and playground duties

Requirements

* Experience with children or individuals with disabilities (paid or voluntary)
* GCSE Grade C/4+ in English & Maths
* Comfortable with behaviour that challenges and personal care
* Calm under pressure

Requirements

* QTS/QTLS (ECTs must have completed 1 year in mainstream)
* UK teaching experience and knowledge of the National Curriculum
