As a Mobile Caretaker you will ensure that the properties and surrounding area you deliver a service to, will be clean, tidy, safe, secure and in good condition, both by direct action and by monitoring of estate services provided by contractors. You will work jointly with a second Mobile Caretaker to maintain 60 properties across the West London area, a van will be provided and it's essential that you hold a full UK driving licence. Responsibilities Ensuring shared areas are cleaned to a high standard, including (but not exhaustive): Sweeping of external areas ensuring they are free from obstructions, litter, leaves, etc. Removing litter from communal gardens Sweeping, washing, and disinfecting refuse areas and placing refuse ready for collection as required by the Local Authority Sweeping, washing, vacuuming, polishing internal areas including floors, corridors, stairs, landings, and lifts Dusting, wiping, polishing handrails, balustrades, skirting and ledges Other duties and tasks Reporting and follow up all communal repairs Be point of contact for all contractors, developers, managing agents, local authorities, and emergency services on site Providing administrative support to the team, including completing and submitting records/monitoring sheets and logs Provide high levels of customer service Adhering to our service standards in relation to answering calls and responding to messages Responding to resident requests, providing advice and signposting Being a positive ambassador for the team and the organisation Requirements We believe every employee at Octavia has a part to play in delivering of our vision and strategy.
