Role- Field Service Engineer
Salary- £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Type- Permanent
Location- Manchester
My client is a specialist manufacturer of Refrigeration equipment. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Manchester on a permanent basis.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
2 years or more of experience in a similar Mobile Engineering position
Have a background in Refrigeration with knowledge of Refrigeration systems and principles
Mechanically minded
Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Proven ability to drive Engineering development
Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
The ability to understand system requirements
Be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to comfortably travel around the Manchester Greater Area for work
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
Travelling to customer sites to deliver and service controls and systems
Electrical & Mechanical maintenance and repair
Training customers on how to use the equipment
Mechanical servicing
Around 10% of work at the company base and 90% servicing
Developing strong relationships with customers
