This is a full-time role within a busy and supportive school that places strong emphasis on student welfare, safeguarding, and improving attendance outcomes. The attendance team plays a key role in ensuring students attend school regularly, supporting early intervention strategies, and working closely with families and external agencies. About the Role You will be responsible for monitoring student attendance, identifying patterns of absence, and working proactively to improve attendance across the school. The role involves daily monitoring of registers, contacting parents/carers regarding absences, and working with pastoral staff to support students at risk of persistent absence. You will contribute to safeguarding processes and help ensure all students are engaged, supported, and able to access learning consistently. You will work closely with senior leaders, parents, and external agencies to implement attendance improvement strategies and maintain accurate attendance records.
