Job Title: Class Teacher
Location: Chestnut Hill School, Holywell, CH8 9DX
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Class Teacher to join our team at Chestnut Hill School in Holywell.
About The Role
This is a great opportunity for a Teacher who wants to work flexibly, focusing on each individual and who is skilled at developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding, and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decisions.

Educated to degree level and/or with Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative teaching style, motivated by helping every pupil reach their potential.
While previous experience in an SEN/ASC environment is desirable, excellent teaching skills, motivation, personal qualities, and resilience are equally important.
Essential:
* Educated to GCSE level and A level, or equivalent
* QTS or equivalent
* Experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly ASC (highly desirable)
* Experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour (highly desirable)
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary team or with a therapist (highly desirable)

You’ll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, under the 4DWW trial, subject to probation.
