Carrington West are working with Derby City Council to find a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Reactive Maintenance) on an initial 6-month contract. This role is firmly focused on reactive maintenance and fault diagnosis, supporting council-owned buildings across Derby, including schools. You'll act as the technical lead when systems fail, identifying causes, specifying remedial works and ensuring safe, compliant outcomes.
