About the Role – Teaching Assistant
Milk Education is seeking a motivated and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hartlepool.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both aspiring and experienced Teaching Assistants to support children at a key stage in their development, within a nurturing and inclusive Early Years setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including children with SEND
2. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities
3. Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
4. Prepare learning resources and support daily classroom routines
5. Encourage positive behaviour and support pupil engagement
Essential Requirements
6. Relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent)
7. Experience working with young children (school or nursery setting)
8. Confidence supporting children with additional needs
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills
10. Reliable, adaptable, and passionate about education
