Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Fleetwood to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a Reception class. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and help shape the early learning experiences of children with additional needs.
About the Role:
Supporting children in Reception with a range of SEN, including speech and language difficulties, autism, and developmental delay.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
Providing 1:1 and small group support to help children access the EYFS curriculum.
Encouraging social interaction, emotional regulation, and independence.
Assisting with personal care when required.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children in EYFS, ideally in a SEN capacity.
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
