About the Role:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Grounds & Maintenance Assistant to join our team at one of Darwin Escapes’ beautiful holiday destinations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards and is passionate about creating a safe, clean and well-presented environment for guests. In this role, you will support the upkeep of the park’s grounds, facilities and accommodation, helping to ensure everything is maintained to a high standard.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is practical, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
This is a fixed term, full-time position working variable days, including weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out general grounds maintenance including grass cutting, strimming, planting and landscaping
• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs across the park, including lodges and facilities
• Conduct regular checks of park equipment, buildings and outdoor areas
• Ensure all grounds and facilities are clean, tidy and well-presented at all times
• Support with waste management and recycling processes
• Assist with setting up and maintaining outdoor areas and guest facilities
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety procedures
• Work closely with other departments to support the overall guest experience
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in a similar grounds or maintenance role is desirable
• Practical skills with a good understanding of basic maintenance tasks
• Ability to use grounds keeping tools and equipment safely
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• A commitment to maintaining high standards

Additional Information:
