Main duties of the job
The role will include managing the plastic dressings clinic at Stoke Mandeville. There may be a requirement to work across site to our Amersham Plastic Dressing Clinic.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Essential criteria
10. Degree in related field (or equivalent experience)
11. RN (adult)
Desirable criteria
12. Completion of appropriate management and leadership programme
EXPERIENCE
Essential criteria
13. Experience in wound care and plastic dressings
14. Experience of teaching Trained Nurses, Health Care assistants and students
Desirable criteria
15. Experience of working in an outpatient setting
SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE
Essential criteria
16. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively communicate on the telephone and face to face in English
17. Managerial and leadership ability
18. Knowledge of plastics dressings
Desirable criteria
19. Knowledge of health and safety issues and policies
20. Experience in researching improvements and developments in desired field
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Desirable criteria
21. Ability to travel to other sites. Ability to work internal rotation
