Recycling Process Operative (plastics) - The Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company, the market leader in synthetic surface recycling with the opportunity to quickly increase annual earnings. We are seeking a motivated, hardworking candidate to join our team. We require a practically minded individual to join or plastics recycling section. The roll involves hands on operation of plastics recycling & manufacturing machinery through various stages of production. Full training will be given to the right candidate who should have willingness to maintain high working standards in an industrial environment. Reliability, good time keeping, motivated and hard working are critical requirement of the role. The role on offer requires the operation of forklift trucks, movement of material and the continuous monitoring of plastics recycling processes. The expectation will be that tidying works area is undertaken as required and safe operation of machinery is mandatory. The candidate must be willing to work over and above normal working hours when required for which overtime will be paid. Recycling Process Operative (plastics) - Skills and Experience Experience working within a recycling plant is desirable however not essential as full training will be given. Experience of operating forklift trucks to a good standard is required and ideally training records of this will be provided to demonstrate the required competency. Full training as required will be provided. An eye for detail and machine function is a requirement and the ability to ensure all workstations are kept clean during the working day. Hardworking individuals with the determination to complete works on time while operating in a safe manner are a minimum requirement. Time keeping and reliability are essential. Operatives are expected to arrive in advance of the shift starting and work consistently throughout the working day. Mandatory break times will be provided as well as full welfare facilities. Full PPE will be provided to all successful candidates.
