Manage calibration systems, supplier quality activities, and internal audits.
Report and analyse key quality metrics (COPQ, NRFT, OTD) to drive performance improvements.
Identify and implement improvements within the Business Management System.
Act as the senior escalation point for internal quality issues.
Build and lead a small quality engineering team to maintain best practices and compliance.
Candidate Profile
Degree-qualified in an engineering or quality-related discipline.
8-10+ years' experience in manufacturing quality engineering, ideally within aerospace, defence, or other safety-critical sectors.
Proven success in delivering APQP processes including PFMEA, Control Plans, validation, and supplier/customer interface.
Strong understanding of ISO9001 / AS9100 standards and related quality systems.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to embed new processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Ambition and capability to develop into a leadership position managing a small team.
